God has a plan for every one of his children. We are going to be judged according to how we have fulfilled the plan that God has given to us (2Corinthians 5:9-11). Your destiny is the road that God wants you to walk until you reach an expected end, while your purpose is what God wants you to do. When we talk about Gods plan for your life, we talk about both His purpose and destiny for you.

Every living person has three destinies ahead of him. Human destiny, which is the human plan for his life, divine destiny, which is God’s plan for his life and evil destiny which is the destiny that satan has planned for your life.

God’s plan comes first. It is the most important of all. It is the one that we are going to give account of as to how much of it we have fulfilled. We are still alive because it. This means that God gives us an opportunity to fulfill it while we are on earth. Human destiny is not wrong either as long as it’s not against God’s word and God`s plan for you. Human destiny includes things that you want to achieve and those you want to have during your earthly life, your human destiny is much related to your human nature, which is this physical body we live in and your physical life in general. Your human destiny is focused on what you as a human being want to achieve, and the things that you enjoy even if it they do not bring much good to those who are around you. But God’s plan is focused on other people and bringing goodness towards them or making their lives better. Example: your human plan could be having a certain type of car or living in a certain place just because you like it. It could be that you want to play a certain sport because you enjoy it. God gave people a spirit and body so that they can be able to fulfill their spiritual responsibilities, which is fulfilling God’s plan for their lives and their physical responsibilities and desires (when I speak of physical desires I don’t mean fleshly or evil desires). But our human plans have to submit to God’s plans if they will hinder God`s plan. Perhaps God’s plan is for a person to do a certain thing, and a person’s plan takes up all of his time so much that he is unable to fulfill God’s plan. Than in that case, the human desire must submit to God`s plan. God wants you to fulfill your human destiny and enjoy life. He has promised to help you to reach your physical desires and plans because He loves you. But he will only do this if your physical plans do not go against his divine plan for your life. But still, God uses our human plans to glorify Himself. E.g. God is pleased when you drive the car of your dreams or live in the house of your dreams.

Satan’s destiny for a person is the wrong one. Satan’s plan for a person is for that person to become God’s enemy. He wants that person to live a dirty life and walk with wrong desires of the flesh (Galatians 5:19). He wants people to become drunks, fornicators, thieves, adulterers etc. His plan is for people to serve him in different ways, example: through divination, witchcraft, mediums, Satanism etc (Deuteronomy 18:9-14). He wants people to suffer, fall sick, become poor, become offended and be stagnant in life. He wants to kill, steal from a person and to destroy a person generally (John 10:10).

HERE WE ARE GOING TO LOOK AT GODS PLAN FOR HIS CHILD

God’s plan is focused on God using us to bring goodness to other people. It is not focused on that person whom God is using to help others only, but it is focused on making that person a blessing to others. In other words, God’s plan for your life is not focused on you alone, but God wants to bless others through you.

God’s general plan for all his children is that we should build His kingdom on earth. What is God’s kingdom? The Kingdom of God is the manifestation of God and His rule. In other words, God`s plan is for us to manifest His kingdom on earth and bring about His way of doing things. The kingdom of God grows when people are saved, trained and plays their part in the kingdom of God. Jesus wants the earth to be like heaven (Matthew 6:9-11). In heaven there is no death, sickness, lack, curses, failure and orphans etc. The book of Acts is a perfect example of the kingdom of God on earth.

Now, all believers have a part to play in building the kingdom of God on earth. Believers are divided in to two parts in the kingdom of God to fulfill this ministry of building His kingdom. These parts generalize the ministries that God gives to believers, and then come other ministries that fall under these ministries that God gives to believers.

These parts are KINGS AND PRIESTS (Revelations 1:6, 5:10)

All believers are sons and daughters of God, but then some have the ministry of being priests and some of being kings in God`s kingdom. (The truth is that all sons and daughters of God are kings and priests, and this I called the first part in the teaching of the Sons of God). But the second part is this one that we are about to talk about.

Kings are believers whom God calls, and anoints to build his kingdom with their finances and gifts. In other words, they have to make sure that the gospel is spread through their finances and other material gifts that are important for the advancement of the gospel. Example: vehicles, finances, buildings, media and etc.

Priests are those whom God calls and anoints to build his kingdom by being in the frontline of spreading and teaching the gospel. These are those who are called to the five-fold ministry (Ephesians 4:11). We have explained this clearly in the teaching of sons of God and the Kingdom of God.

Now, God`s plan for His children falls in one of these parts. Some may have both ministries of king and priest. Any profession that a believer is in, whether he is a business person, whether he works in a bank, whether he is a farmer, or he ministers in church with one of the five offices of Jesus Christ or he is in any other profession, he has to build the kingdom of God though that particular profession.

Apart from that, there are some other ministries and callings that fall under these callings of kings and priests, which are: giving, taking care of orphans, taking care of the needy, counseling and other ministries that bring good to other people in many different ways (Romans 12:5-9).

What God wants is for you represent His kingdom in your profession, and build His kingdom through it.

All believers have a part to play in the kingdom of God.
