FAITH RESTS IN THE WORD OF GOD (Hebrew 4:3-4)

Faith rests in the word of God. Perfect faith brings perfect rest. The person who is in faith has peace and rest in his spirit. Even if his negative situation has not yet changed according to the physical eyes, he is fully rested in his spirit. A little sign of worry is a sign that faith is not yet perfected. Faith is quickly perfected by our actions and confessions of faith (Matthew 6:25-34). An example is that of a rested person, even when he is in the midst of challenges, yet he sleeps like a baby because he knows that his Father God is in control. People who walk by faith perform great works, as long as they are rested in their spirits. Worry and stress are a sign of doubt.

3) FAITH TAKES ACTION ON THE WORD OF GOD (James 2:26)

Faith takes action on the word of God, if your faith does not have any actions, then it is not faith but hope. Faith operates in the past or the present, not in the future. But hope is in the future. Example: the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The bible calls it our secure hope. An example of an action of faith is that of a family that has asked for a child from God, an action of faith would be to buy nappies and baby clothing which would show the expectancy of what they have asked for. By faith you act as though you have that child already. Another important part of acting your faith is to do for others what you want God to do for you. Doing this is to sow a seed, and God will make sure that you reap a harvest of what you have sown. This is a principle that governs the Kingdom of God.

4) FAITH SPEAKS- FAITH IS PERFECTED BY ACTION AND CONFESSION OF THE MOUTH.

In 1Corinthians 4:13, Apostle Paul reveals the principle or the operation of faith when he says, “we have believed, therefore we speak.” The Lord Jesus also said in (Mark 11:23), “If you believe in your heart, and then speak with your mouth, you will get whatever you say. These are the principles of faith: if you believe in your heart, all that you believe is perfected in the realm of the spirit (that means that it is established for you in the spirit world), but when you speak it with your mouth, then it is manifested for you in the physical realm ( or the physical world).
You cannot separate faith from confession. You have to repeatedly act and speak your faith, if you want things to happen and manifest physically in your life. Example: your Sonship in God, healing, success, authority etc.

5) FAITH OPERATES IN THE PAST AND PRESENT, NOT THE FUTURE:

Faith believes that a thing has happened, or that it is happening now, not that it will happen in the future. It believes that a thing has happened even before it is visible to the physical eye. An example is when you heal one with a headache. When you release healing power, you don’t say, “you will be healed”, but you have to say, “you are healed” or “you are being healed”. Faith says that something has happened already or is happening now. When you are sick, you have to say, “I am healed”, not, I will be healed. Take note that the New Testament in the word of God is in the past tense. It explains the work that Jesus has finished for us through his life, death and resurrection. It tells us that we were healed (1Peter 2:24), we are already blessed (Eph1:3),We were raised with Christ and many others. It’s a done deal. The work is finished. All that is left for us is to believe, speak and act on the word with unshakeable faith.

6) FAITH CALLS THINGS WHICH ARE NOT AS THOUGH THEY WERE (Romans 4:17):

Faith calls things which are not as though they were, and when it calls them forth, they become realities in the physical realm. Just like when God called light out of darkness. Faith speaks what it wants to see, not what it already sees, and when it speaks what it wants to see, that which it wants to see appears and then that which was not desirable disappears. Example: when a person is sick, and then he calls forth healing as though it was there, because he wants to see healing, healing appears, and then sickness disappears. When he calls himself prosperous as though he was like that already, then prosperity will manifest in his life and poverty will disappear.

7) FAITH IS THE FRUIT OF THE RECREATED HUMAN SPIRIT, NOT THE MIND OR THE BODY

Faith is part of the recreated human spirit. Faith operates from this part of the person. Faith operates in the spiritual realm and its fruits are seen in the natural or the physical realm. Often people want to feel faith in their body or emotions, all that is not necessary. In short, each and every child of God as faith, all that matters now is how he grows it. It is wrong for a child of God to pray for faith for you received it once you accepted Jesus Christ into your life. It is part of his recreated human spirit which has the divine nature/ God kind of nature. We will speak in detail about the divine nature when we do the Sons of God teaching. Do not base your faith on your emotions, mind, and your body. Do not try to reason out spiritual truths with your mind; just believe them as they are. Faith operates from the spirit, not with the mind.

8) FAITH IS BOLD AND COURAGEOUS

Faith gives a person supernatural boldness. You cannot separate faith from boldness. It often looks as though a person taking an action of faith is doing a dangerous or a risky thing to the human mind, in fact, faith is like madness to the natural mind. Faith always takes action on Gods word, and taking action on Gods word requires boldness because there is no tangible evidence to your mind to prove that what you believe will come to pass, but you trust in Gods faithfulness and his character. Example: David killing Goliath, Peter walking on water, Gideon and Joshua etc. Boldly declare what God calls you and act like you are that, then you will see it manifested in your life.
