God has given all things to the son. In the beginning God made this earth for his children and gave them authority to rule and reign over the earth. But Adam gave that authority to satan when he disobeyed God. But God took it back after the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and gave it back to his children. But now they have to possess and dominate the earth by faith, and take it from satan and his children. To dominate means to put under or to subdue and rule over. To posses means: to take by force. When we speak of the earth, we speak of the creation, which are: lands, buildings, houses, media etc. The old covenant was just a shadow of what God wanted for his church. The book of Joshua is a good example of what God wants with his church and also the principals of possessing by faith. Study Joshua chapter 1- 13 to see how to they possessed the earth from God`s enemies. It is true that they possessed and took ground through physical force, but we possess and take ground through spiritual force. But the principals of possessing and dominion are still the same. The son possesses and dominates in the following way:

1) He has to know his covenant with God. He should know that God gave him the earth and everything in it by blood covenant (Genesis 13:14-18, Joshua 1:3-6, Romans 4:13, Galatians 3:9 and verse 29). The son has to understand that dominion is An Anointing (it’s the manifestation of the Holy Spirit through the son to possess and to reign). And this manifestation is released by faith like any other manifestation of the Holy Spirit. (Example: healing and prophetic anointing). When the son walks with this manifestation, he will always possess and dominate circumstances where ever he is.

2) You have to act on the written word. In other words, be faithful to God by acting on the word, like forgiving, giving your tithes and offerings, spending time with God, being bold etc (Joshua 1:7-10)
3) You have to do as God directs you through his spoken word (Rhema). God always spoke to the Israelites about what to do, where to go, how to overcome etc: Jericho is a good example (Joshua 6:1-7) and other places. They conquered through the spoken word leading them step by step.

4) Take actions of faith to possess what God has given to you by doing God reveals to you and also speaking words of faith that it is yours already even before you see it with your physical eyes. God may reveal to you to give something as a sign of your faith in Him, this is called sowing a faith seed. It is a powerful tool in possessing and dominating and it opens big doors on our behalf. The greater the seed is a sign of great faith behind it and it will lead to greater dominion and possession (The Israelites took actions of faith when they went to battle, they had already won that battle in the spiritual realm and they knew it, but they took an action of faith which would manifest their victory in the physical realm).
5) Thank God and praise Him for what you expect even before you get it physically. When you make these actions, doors will always open for you; you will always possess and dominate wherever you go. Different Ways of possessing are that you could get that which you want for free, or the money to pay for them will be available, or its price could be reduced, or something extra ordinary could happen to elevate you to where you want to be. Read Joshua 12:7-24 (Joshua possessed 31 kingdoms). In Joshua 13:1-6, God showed him that he wanted him to possess everywhere for Him. It is the same with us today. God wants us to possess the earth and its riches for His kingdom.
